ESIC UDC Eligibility 2022 Based On Nationality

A candidate who wishes to take the ESIC UDC exam must be one of the following:

(A) An Indian citizen (B) A Nepalese subject (C) A Bhutanese subject

(D) A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) A person of Indian origin who came to India with the intention of permanently settling in India from Pakistan, Burma, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Kenya, and Vietnam.

Note: An applicant who falls into one of the categories (b), (c), (d), or (e) above must be an individual who has received a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India. An applicant who requires a certificate of eligibility may be accepted to the Examination, but the offer letter of employment will not be granted until the relevant eligibility certificate has been obtained by the Government of India.
