The CUET Exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency and the guidelines are set by the University Grants Commission. This is the most popular exam in the country for admission into Central Universities. These days some private institutions also accept the CUET scores for admission into their courses. This exam is conducted across more than 500 popular cities in the country and thousands of aspiring students participate in it. The exam pattern is divided into four sections namely Section IA, Section IB, Section II, and Section III. While the first section is reserved for languages, the next two sections are for Domain-specific subjects and General tests. Students who want to enroll in mathematics and related subjects, have to choose the second section as CUET Mathematics.
- The Common University Entrance Test is a Computer-based Exam.
- After the test is over, candidates would get a scorecard.
- Then, the participating universities prepare a merit list based on the marks obtained by the candidates. Students then attend the counseling session at various universities for their choice of courses.

CUET Exam Pattern
The CUET Exam Pattern has three sections. The first two are compulsory, the last one is discretionary.
The first section exam will have various languages like English, Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Urdu, and Tamil. Candidates can choose one among them for the first section of the exam.

CUET Mathematics: Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the domain of Mathematics is listed below. Candidates should meet all the eligibility criteria to get admission into the university of their choice.
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream from a recognized Board/University
- They should score not less than 60% marks for General category, 55% marks for OBC-NCL category, and 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- Should be less than 20 years of age as on 1st July of the current year
- Must have Mathematics/Statistics, Physics, and Chemistry in 10+2.
