The Common University Entrance Test is a Pan-India exam conducted by the National Testing Agency to provide a single-window opportunity for students to seek admission to any of the Central Universities (CUs) and others across the country. As per the CUET Notification 2022 released by UGC, the exam will be conducted in the 1st week of July 2022. - The exam pattern has three sections namely, Section IA, Section IB; Section II; and Section III. Section IA and IB will be for languages, Section II will be domain-specific and Section III will be a general test.

CUET Exam Pattern
CUET will be conducted across India and the scores will be valid in various Central Universities as well as private institutions. The exam will have 13 languages namely English, Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Urdu, and Tamil. Candidates can choose one among them as a medium for the exam.
As stated above, the exam will have 4 sections namely, Section IA, Section IB; Section II; and Section III. Section IA and IB will be for languages, Section II will be Domain-specific and Section III will be a General Test. While the first two sections are compulsory in nature, the General Test would be optional.

- Passed 10+2 or 10+3 diploma approved by the State Board of Technical Education
