Eligibility Difference Between Railway Group D & SSC MTS

Difference Between Railway Group D & SSC MTS Exam Pattern

  • Number of Phases-  SSC MTS has 2 phases (CBT and Descriptive Test). While Railway Group D will have only one stage- CBT.
  • Negative Marking- Railway Group D exam has a negative marking of ⅓ marks. SSC MTS has a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
  • CBT- The subjects included in the CBT of Railway Group D Exam are General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness and Current Affairs. While for the MTS exam, CBT includes the subjects of Intelligence Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, English, and General Knowledge.
  • Duration- CBT for both exams is conducted for 90 minutes.
