For admission into Central Universities, NTA will be conducting a common entrance examination. The CUET Exam will consist of three sections- Languages, Domain-Specific, and General Test. Each section carries certain marks. The General Test is for any such undergraduate program/programs being offered by Universities where a General Test is being used for admission. CUET General Test Syllabus
As mentioned above, the General Test will be used for admission by certain universities. This is the third section of the CUET Exam. There will be 60 questions in the General Test. Candidates will have 60 minutes to attempt the test. Knowledge of the course covered in school will be tested. Candidates should prepare the topics mentioned in the syllabus. The topics included in the CUET General Test Syllabus are as follows.
- General Knowledge
- Current Affairs
- General Mental Ability
- Numerical Ability
- Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration /stat taught till Grade 8)
- Logical and Analytical Reasoning
CUET Exam Pattern
A proper knowledge of the examination pattern is important. Since the exam is being conducted for the first time, candidates should carefully study the pattern. The CUET Exam as a whole will consist of three sections. Let us take a look at the detailed exam pattern.
