Tripura PSC Assistant Professor Educational Qualification

1. A Master’s Degree with 55% of marks in a concerned/relevant/allied subject or discipline from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University. 
2. Besides the above-mentioned degree, candidates must have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR or a similar test conducted by UGC like SLET/SET or who have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016. 

OR

1. The Ph.D degree obtained from a Foreign University/Institution with a ranking among the top 500 in World University Ranking by any one of the following i) The Times Higher Education ii)Academic Ranking of the World Universities iii) Shanghai Jio Tong University. 

Note*

It is a desirable qualification that the candidate must have a knowledge of the Bengali or Kok-borok language. 

TPSC Assistant Professor Salary

The pay scale set by the Tripura Public Service Commission for the post of Assistant Professor is Rs. 57,700 – Rs. 1,82,400 in the Academic Level-10 of the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC in the preferred subjects/discipline.
