How to Apply for TNPSC CESE 2022?

Interested candidates can apply for the TNPSC CESE exam through nnline mode only. Note that the registration is closed now. 2nd May was the last date. To apply for the TNPSC Combined Engineering Services examination follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the TNPSC Official Website.

Step 2: Click on the notification in the recruitment column. Search for Combined Engineering Subordinate Service Examination 2022 notification and click on it.

Step 3: Fill the Combined Engineering Subordinate Service Examination (CESE) application form with all the mandatory details.

Step 4: Candidates are required to upload their Photograph, Signature & all required documents, certificates, etc. Pay the application fees.

Step 5: Click on the submit button.

After submitting the application successfully. There will be no modification allowed in the following particular i.e Name of Candidate, Educational Qualification, Date of Birth, Post Applied, Address, Email I.D, Centre of Examination, etc. By following these above steps, candidates will submit their Combined Engineering Subordinate Service Examination (CESE) 2022 form successfully. 

Application Fee 2022

One-Time Registration (OTR) using Aadhar Card Number is mandatory before applying for any post. The candidate should register just one occasion within the One-Time Registration by paying Rs. 150/- as a registration fee. Registration is valid for Five years from the date of registration.

The examination fee is different from the registration fee. Which is paid while submitting the online application fee.

Rs. 100/-

So, the entire fee is Rs 250/- for the first time applying for a candidate.

However, candidates who already have paid there with a One-Time Registration fee for their registration are exempted from paying the registration fee and they have to pay only Rs. 100/- for an application fee.

TNPSC CESE Selection Process

The selection process of TNPSC Combined Engineering Subordinate Service Examination 2022 consists of 2 stages as mentioned below.

Written Examination

  • It consists of two papers in a single day: Paper-1 (Subjective Engineering) & Paper-2 (General Studies).
  • Both the papers are objective.
  • A candidate who cleared both the Paper, he/she is eligible for the next face-to-face interview round.

Interview

  • This is the second round in the selection process for TNPSC CESE 2022 Recruitment. 
  • This round does not carry any marks.
  • In this round, all documents & other details are verified by the authority.
  • Candidates on successfully submitting the documents will be called for final selection through an interview.

Documents Needed for Candidate Verification

Candidates must carry these certificates which are mentioned below for the candidature verification round. The candidate is rejected by the commission if any discrepancies are found in their certificate.

Other than the knowledge of Tamil language, the following educational qualifications are necessary.
