RRB Group D Exam Dates Out- Know All the Details Here

The Railway Recruitment Board released Group D vacancies earlier on 12th March 2019. RRB Group D Exam will be conducted in July 2022. CBT for Group D recruitment will be a single-stage exam. This means, unlike exams for other Pay levels, no second-stage CBT shall be conducted for Group D posts. Read this article to know all the details of RRB Group D Exam.

How to Apply for RRB Group D Recruitment?

The applications for RRB Group D posts are closed now. Given below are the steps to apply.

Step 1: Visit the official website of RRB.

Step 2: In the recruitment section, click on the link to apply for RRB Group D Recruitment.

Step 3: Enter all the required details and upload the documents.

Step 4: Make the payment of the application fee.

Step 5: Click on the submit button.

Application Fee

The amount of application fee to be paid was different for different categories of candidates. Check the details here. It is to be noted, that once the CBT is attempted, a certain amount of application fee will be refunded to the applicant.

RRB Group D Selection Process

The selection process for Group D posts will include the stages of Computer Based Test (1 and 2), Physical Examination Test, Document Verification & Medical Test. 

RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the Recruitment Board. The eligibility is defined in terms of age limit, nationality, and educational qualification. Here are the details.

Age Limit

Candidates applying for RRB Group D posts must be within the age limit of 18-33 years. The Recruitment Board provides age relaxation for certain categories. Here are the details.

Educational Qualification

The candidates must have a minimum educational qualification to apply for RRB Group D Recruitment. Candidates must be 10th pass or have an ITI certificate from the institutions that are recognized by NCVT/SCVT or equivalents or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Nationality

Candidates appearing for RRB Group D Exam must be either of the following:

• A subject from Nepal
• A subject from Bhutan
• A person migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Burma to settle in India permanently
• A Tibetan who came over India before 1st of January 1962 who intended to settle in India permanently

RRB Group D Salary

Candidates who get recruited will be entitled to be paid the RRB Group D Salary. The candidates will be paid in the Pay Level- 1. Salary range will be Rs.18,000 to Rs.22,320.
