The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission released a notification on the 7th of April 2022. This was the Recruitment notification for the posts of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT). • Candidates can apply for the recruitment latest by the 13th of May 2022.
• The selection process will involve two stages- a written test and an interview.

• On getting recruited, candidates will be entitled to the salary in the Pay Matrix Level-7. The range of salary will be Rs.44,900 to Rs.1,42,400.

Step 1: Click on the given link or Visit the official website of APPSC.

Step 2: Finish the One Time Registration.

Step 3: Log in with the credentials that you created in the registration process.

Step 4: Select the subject you want to apply for and enter other details.

Step 5: Make the payment of the application fee and submit.

Candidates should know that in case of more than one application, the one with the higher RID will be valid. 

Application Fee

In order to make the application submission successful, the last step is the payment of the application fee. For each application, the application fee has to be paid separately. Here are the details.

APPSC TGT Selection Process

The selection for TGT posts in APPSC will be based on a written test and an interview/viva voce. However, the Commission may conduct a Recruitment Test/Preliminary Test in case of a large number of candidates. Candidates must be aware of the details in order to get recruited.

• The written examination will be conducted for 400 marks. There shall be three subjects- General English, General Knowledge, and Concerned Subjects.
• Candidates must score a minimum of 33% in each subject and a minimum of 45% in aggregate score.
• From the candidates who score the minimum score, a number three times the vacancies (approx 777), according to merit, will be eligible for the interview round.
• The viva/interview will be conducted for 50 marks.

APPSC TGT Eligibility Criteria

In order to appear for the APPSC TGT Exam, candidates must meet the requirements of eligibility. Candidates who fail to satisfy the eligibility criteria will lose their candidature. We will be discussing eligibility in terms of age limit and education qualification.

Age Limit

For being eligible to apply, candidates must be within the age limit of 21 to 33 years as on the 13th of May 2022. However, the Commission provides upper age limit relaxation to certain categories of candidates. Here are the details.

Educational Qualification

The minimum educational qualification required to apply for APPSC TGT posts is a 2nd class Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized University with a Bachelor’s of Education. Candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the final year examination will be required to submit the original certificate/mark sheet in the interview round.

APPSC TGT Exam Pattern

• In the case of a Preliminary Test, the type of questions will be Multiple Choice Objective Type. It will be an OMR test with questions from the concerned subject. 
• The Written Exam will consist of three subjects- General English, General Knowledge, and Concerned subjects. Here are the details.

APPSC TGT Salary

If the candidates qualify all the rounds of the selection process including the document verification, they will be recruited for TGT posts. Candidates who get selected for the TGT post will receive a salary in the Pay Matrix Level-7 (Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400).

Documents to be Submitted for Interview

Candidates will be required to submit certain documents one week before the interview round. These are the details.

• Recent Passport size Photograph 
• Matriculation Certificate with Marks Sheet issued by Board as proof of Age
• Certificate and Marks Sheet of Class-XII issued by Board 
• Bachelor Degree Certificate and Marks Sheet (issued by the Registrar/Assistant Registrar/Controller of Examination / Vice-Chancellor of the University) 
• B.Ed Certificate. 
• APST Certificate for APST Applicants and PRC/Aadhar Card/EPIC for other Applicants.
