Kerala High Court Assistant Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants need to fulfil the below-mentioned criteria to be eligible for this exam. The ones who do not fulfil the requirement will be disqualified. The High Court of Kerala announced the post of Assistant Qualification 2022 to be announced soon along with the official notification on the official website. According to the previous notification, the aspirants fail to fulfil the specified requirements, then their application will be cancelled immediately, irrespective of the stage of the selection process that they have been shortlisted for. The eligibility criteria include age limit, nationality, educational qualification, number of attempts, experience, etc. 

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

• The aspirants must be born between 02/01/1985 and 01/01/2003 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply for the post. However, there will be age relaxation on the upper age limit of the candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC, Widows, Orthopaedically Disabled, etc.
• The aspirants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree, or Law Degree from a recognized University of Kerala to apply for the post.

• Aspirants with benchmark disabilities whose writing speed is affected can avail of the services of the scribe. The use of scribes will be governed by the guidelines prescribed by the High Court.
• The aspirants must be an Indian Citizen
• Aspirants is a Domicile of Kerala.

The candidate must be born between 02/01/1985 and 01/01/2003 (both days inclusive) in order to be eligible to apply for the post.

Educational Qualification

This is one of the important factors of any recruitment process. According to the Kerala High Court Assistant Eligibility Criteria, the aspirants should possess the following qualification in order to be eligible to apply for the exam.

• The aspirants must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks (no stipulation of marks in case of SC/ST) OR a Master’s Degree OR a Law Degree awarded or recognized by any of the Universities Board in Kerala.
• The aspirants must also possess knowledge in Computer Operations (desirable).
• Aspirants must have all the qualifications on or before the date of the closure of the application form.

Nationality

• Aspirants must be a citizen of Indian.

Experience

The High Court of Kerala has not specified any type of previous working experience in the official notification required to apply for the post of Assistant. Apart from holding a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree or Law Degree from a recognized University of Kerala, there is no need for other work experience required to appear for the recruitment exam.

Important Points to be remembered in Kerala High Court Assistant Qualification

These are the few important points to avoid any confusion while they are applying for the post. The important points are mentioned below:

• Candidates must have certificates of recognition of their degrees from any of the Universities of Kerala and keep them with them. 
• Keep documents original which helps to prove age, qualifications, Community, Non-Creamy Layer status, economically weaker section status should be produced as and when called for, failure of which will lead to the cancellation of their candidature.
• Aspirants who belong to differently-abled categories and claim age relaxation will have to produce a medical certificate and declaration at the time of test in the prescribed format according to the recruitment portal.
• Aspirants, who are in the services of the Government of India or any of the State Governments, while applying, should obtain a No Objection Certificate from their Head of Office or Department and keep it secured.
• Aspirants should ensure that the particulars furnished by them are correct in all respects. If it is found at any stage of the recruitment that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility norms then their candidature will be cancelled. 
• The applications not submitted in accordance with the eligibility and other norms mentioned in the official notification of the High Court will be summarily rejected.
