Kerala PSC Beat Forest Officer Selection Process

As mentioned in the notification, candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical and Medical Tests. The following stages will comprise the selection process:

• Endurance Test

It is to be noted that the Commission might conduct a Written Test/OMR/Online Test as a part of the selection process. Kerala PSC Beat Forest Officer Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the Kerala PSC Beat Forest Officer is defined in terms of age, physical standards, and educational qualification. All candidates must satisfy the eligibility. If they fail to fit in any of the parameters, their candidature will be canceled.

Age Limit

The eligibility criteria is within the age limit of 19-41 years. 

Educational Qualification

Candidates must be 12th pass from the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala, or equivalent examination recognized by the Government of India or Government of Kerala.

Kerala Beat Forest Officer Physical Efficiency Test

The Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted for both males and females candidates. However, the standards shall vary. Let us take a look at both of them.

Male Candidates

All the male candidates must qualify in any five of the eight events. Here are the details.

Kerala Beat Forest Officer Endurance Test

For the male candidates, the Endurance test will require them to run 2 Kilometres in 13 minutes. The female candidates will have to pass the endurance test by running 2 Kilometres in 15 minutes. 

Kerala Beat Forest Officer Salary

Candidates who get shortlisted will have a training period of one year. On successful completion of training, candidates will be selected for a probationary period of 2 years within a continuous service of 3 years. The Kerala Beat Forest Officer Salary will be in the range of ₹ 20,000-45,800/-
