Interested Candidates can apply for the KARTET Examination through the official website. Karnataka TET (KARTET) Examination Selection Process
The Selection Process of KARTET Examination 2022 Consist of different patterns.
- There is only a written examination for this vacancy.
- You can either Appear in Paper 1 or Paper 2 or Both Paper 1 & 2.
- Once You clear the written examination, then you are selected for the TET Post.
Karnataka TET (KARTET) Eligibility Criteria 2022
The Interested Candidate will have to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria set for them in order to be eligible for Karnataka TET Recruitment 2022 for both Paper-1 & Paper-2.
Educational Qualification Eligibility for Paper-1 (Class 1-5)
- PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% (Percentage) marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
- PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% (Percentage) marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% (Percentage) marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation with at least 50% (Percentage) marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
- Graduation with at least 50% (Percentage) marks passed or appearing in FInal-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
Educational Qualification Eligibility for Paper-2 (Class 6-8)
- Graduation with at least 50 Percentage marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
- Graduation with at least 50% (Percentage) marks and passing or appearing in the final year of 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- PUC/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% (Percentage) marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed).
- PUC/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% (Percentage) marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% (Percentage) marks and passed or appearing in Final-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
Important Point Note:-
- Relaxation of up to 5% (Percentage) in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification meant for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC / ST / C1 / Differently abled.
- For the purposes of this Announcement, a Diploma/Degree course in teacher education honored by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered.
However, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed
(Special Education), a course honored by the Rehabilitation Council
Of India (RCI) only shall be considered.
- The minimum qualifications referred above, apply to the teachers of Languages, Social Studies, Mathematics and Science only.
- Candidates who are appearing in the final year of Bachelor Degree in Education of Diploma in Elementary Education etc. are provisionally admitted and their KARTET Certificate shall be valid only on passing the aforesaid Examinations with prescribed marks
- The candidates not having any of the above qualifications shall not be eligible for appearing in the “Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test”.
Karnataka TET (KARTET) Examination Exam Pattern 2022
The interested candidate who teaches the students of Class 1-5 will have to appear for the Paper-1 and those candidates who want to teach students belonging to class 6-8 will have to appear for the Paper-2. Those candidates who wish to be taught for classes 1-8 will have to appear for both papers.

After completing the written examination, Karnataka School Education Board (KSEB) publishes the KARTET answer key on their official website. Applicants can see their scores and cross-check their answers against the answer key. For downloading the answer key the following steps.

Step 2: After being directed to the Home Page, you will find KARTET Answer Key 2022 Link.
Step 3: Now click on the link for the post you have applied for. If you have appeared for Paper 1 then click on the Newspaper 1 link & If you have appeared for paper-2, click on the Newspaper 2 link.
