Candidates can follow these few easy steps to apply for TNPSC Group 4 Exam. Candidates are advised to not wait for the last date and apply in advance.

Step 2: Select Group 4 and click on your desired post’s exam.

Step 3: Input all the details asked.  

Step 4: Upload the documents in the size mentioned. Make sure that the documents are in the correct format.

TNPSC Group 4 Recruitment Selection Process

Selection Process is the different steps through which deserving candidates are recruited. According to the TNPSC Group 4 notification, the selection process for all the posts remains the same. There shall be two stages of the selection process.

Junior Assistant Bill Collector	Must have a minimum general educational qualification, i.e., must have passed the S.S.L.C.  Public Examination or its equivalent and be eligible for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Study or College Courses of Study.
Typist	Must have a minimum general educational qualification, i.e., must have passed the S.S.L.C. Public Examination or its equivalent and be eligible for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Study or College Courses of Study.Applicant must have passed government technical exams of typewriting like-i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English (or)iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

• Candidates should have adequate knowledge of the Tamil language.
• Candidates who make it through the written test must produce certificates for vision and physical fitness.

Nationality

According to the TNPSC Group 4 Notification 2022, the candidate must be an Indian citizen.

TNPSC Group 4 Exam Pattern

• The TNPSC Group 4 Exam will be conducted for 200 questions.
• The paper will be divided into two sections. 
• Section A will cover questions on the subject of Tamil Language while section B will cover questions on the subjects of General Studies and Aptitude & Mental Ability.
• Section B will be evaluated only if the candidate scores minimum qualification marks of 40% in Section A.
• Duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
