Telangana Police Constable Recruitment Selection Process
Written examination, Preliminary Test (PT), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Final Written Examination are used to select applicants for Telangana Police Recruitment positions (FWE). The detailed exam pattern can be found below.
Telangana Police Constable Preliminary Test
Applicants must answer objective type questions on Arithmetic Ability & Reasoning, and General Studies in the Preliminary Test, which is the first step of selection for Telangana Police Recruitment. The Preliminary Test will consist of 200 questions worth 200 points, and the exam will last 3 hours.

Telangana Police Physical Measurement Test
Telangana Police aspirants are expected to pass the Physical Measurement test after passing the Preliminary Test by qualifying different physical characteristics shown in the table below according to their categories.

Telangana Police Physical Efficiency Test
The Physical Efficiency Test is the third and most crucial stage of the Telangana Police Selection Process, in which applicants must qualify and score in the test based on their categories and the positions for which they have applied. - Men seeking for positions other than those listed above, such as police (civil), firefighters, and warders, must qualify in three of the five events, including the 800 meter run, and the Physical Efficiency Test will serve as a qualifying event.

- Women Applicants seeking for police in Arkansas must pass all three events mentioned for them, which total 125 points.

Telangana Police Final Written Examination
The Final Written Examination is the final stage of the Telangana Police Selection Process, in which applicants will be evaluated based on their performance in a written objective test, and a final merit list will be produced and published after trying to analyze applicants’ performance at each stage of the selection process.
