What is CUET Exam?

Central University Entrance Test (CUET) is an all-India level entrance exam administered by NTA for admission to all participating institutions’ UG, PG, and PhD programmes. The full name of the exam was Central Universities Common Entrance Test or CUCET until last year, when it was changed by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The exam is held once a year in 161 cities across India.

The UGC president has stated that the idea has not yet been finalised, and that he wants to ensure that the National Testing Agency (NTA) and all other stakeholders are well-prepared before the new One Nation One Examination for students is launched.
