Steps to Apply for Goa Shipyard Recruitment 2022
The application process for the recruitment is only done through online mode. And candidates need to submit the hard copy of the application form thus submitted along with relevant documents along with the demand draft, by post to Goa Shipyard Limited. The last date for the online application has been extended to 13th May 2022, whereas the last date for the submission of the application along with documents and demand draft has been extended to 23rd May 2022. The following are important steps to take note of while submitting the online application for your ready reference –
Step 1: Go to the official website of the company.
Step 2: Search and click on the link “Careers”, and thereafter select “GSL Careers”.
Step 3: Now click on “Apply Now”, and select the desired post you wish to apply for.
Step 4: Keep a scanned copy in the JPG or PDF formats, of official documents like – Passport sized photograph, signature, demand draft, SSC Certificate, Educational Qualification mark sheet, Copy of Caste or Disability Certificate, and Experience certificates.
Step 5: Before submitting, candidates must check the terms and conditions, pay the application fees, and then finally click on the “Submit” button.
Step 6: Candidates should print out the application form and attached the same with the relevant documents.
Step 7: The candidates have to send the hard copy of the application form, demand draft, and scanned copies of relevant documents by post to the address of the Goa Shipyard Limited.
Goa Shipyard Application Fee 2022
The application fee for the submission of the form is Rs 200/- to be paid by Demand Draft. However, the candidates belonging to categories like SC/ST/ ExSM/ PwD don’t have to pay as per the rule of the Government.
Goa Shipyard Recruitment 2022: Selection Process 2022
The Goa Shipyard selection process comprises two stages –
- Stage I- Written Test
- Stage II- Practical Test
The candidates must note the following points pertaining to the selection process –
- Candidates will be eligible to appear for the practical test only if they qualify for the first stage, the written test.
- Outstation candidates who clear the written test and qualify for the Practical Test will be reimbursed for the travel expenses to and fro 2nd sleeper class rail fare by the shortest route from their nearest railway station, as registered by them in the Online Application System to Goa Shipyard Limited.
- The reimbursement will only be made on the production of proof of journey, being the hard copy of Tickets as per rules of the Company.

The eligibility criteria are well defined in the official recruitment notification and are specified for each of the posts for which the recruitment is conducted.
