CUET Admission| Know All The Steps To Apply
The CUET is conducted by the National Testing Agency. The Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) is a test for admission to various programmes at participating Central Universities. The NTA has released the notification for the CUET 2022 examination. The application process began on April 6, 2022. Read the article below carefully to know more about the CUET Admission 2022.
How will you get admission to a University based on your CUET Score?
- Participation in CUET (UG) – 2022 does not guarantee acceptance to the candidate’s desired university.
- The selection and admission of a candidate are dependent on the candidate satisfying the University’s admission requirements, eligibility, merit list rank, medical fitness, original document verification, and any other criteria.
- Candidates are recommended to check the website of the applicant university for all admission-related procedures/questions following the publication of the CUET (UG) – 2022 result.
- NTA has no role in the process of the Merit List.
Marking Scheme of CUET Examination
Candidates must pick one option that corresponds to the accurate or most relevant response to answer multiple-choice questions. If, after the key verification challenges, any error or discrepancy is discovered, it must be resolved as follows:
- The correct or the most acceptable response: (+5) five marks
- Any incorrectly marked choice will receive a one-point deduction (-1).
- Unanswered/Marked for Review questions will receive no marks (0).
- If more than one choice is discovered to be valid, only those who marked any of the correct alternatives will receive five marks (+5).
- If all alternatives are judged to be right, all individuals who attempted the question will receive five marks (+5).
- If none of the options is found correct or a Question is found to be wrong or a Question is dropped then all candidates who have appeared will be given five marks (+5).
