Every year, a state-level recruitment exam is held by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) to fill the position of sub-inspector. Eligibility Criteria For TNUSRB SI Exam
Age Requirements: As of July 1, 2023, applicants must be at least 20 years old and not older than 30 years old. Candidates from the reserved category have a lower age limit.
Education: As of the date of the announcement, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a university that has been approved by the UGC or the government. The Bachelor’s Degree must have been earned in one of the following ways: a) after finishing SSLC and Higher Secondary School in the order of 10+2+3/4/5; b) after finishing SSLC and a Diploma in the order of 10+3+2 or 10+3+3; or c) after finishing SSLC and an ITI in the order of 10+2+3.
Exam Pattern For TNUSRB SI Exam
- Two parts of the written exam are the Tamil Eligibility Test and the GK and Psychology Test.
- Candidates must receive 40 marks in the qualifying Tamil Eligibility Test before the Mains examination OMR sheets are checked.
- For open applicants taking the Mains test, the cutoff score is 25, whereas for departmental candidates it is 30.
- The total marks earned after all phases will be used to determine the final selection.
