TNSET Exam Pattern 2022

TNSET Syllabus
The TNSET 2022 test will follow the same syllabus as the UGC/CSIR-NET. The curriculum will not be sent to each applicant separately by the exam authorities.

TNSET Admit Card / Hall Ticket 2022
The University will invite applicants to the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test 2022 shortly after they have completed the Online Application Form procedure. Only the online version of the TNSET hall ticket will be available. Candidates will not get a paper admission card in order to take the test. In July 2022, the admission card will be accessible. TNSET Result / Merit List 2022
1)The TNSET entrance test results will be released in an online format. Candidates who pass the entrance exam will only be notified via SMS on their registered cellphone number by the authorities.
2)The result will only be visible to the candidates that appeared in the exam. In the month of August 2022, the TNSET 2022 results will be released.
3)According to the State Government’s reservation policy, the top 6% of candidates who appear in both Papers I and II will be considered eligible for Assistant Professor Eligibility.
4)In case of General/OBC (Creamy Layer) Category, candidates must secure at least 40% aggregate marks.
5)In case of OBC (Non Creamy Layer/SC/ST/PwD Category, candidates must secure at least 35% aggregate marks.
TNSET Counselling 2022
After a few days of written test results the authority will shortlist the candidates for the interview round. Candidates who pass the written test will only be invited to the PI based on their TNSET scores.To participate in the counselling rounds, you must also meet the cut-off criteria. Those who pass the PI round will be considered for the position of Assistant Professor.
