G20 summit 2023: The Group of Twenty (G20) will meet for the eighteenth time in 2023, with the summit likely to be held at New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan. India will retain the presidency beginning December 1, 2022, till the summit in the third quarter of 2023. The next summit will be India’s most high-profile international gathering to date. As the country prepares for the summit in 2023, India will host more than 200 events in major cities such as Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai as part of the G20 Summit 2023.
India is part of the G20 Troika, which also comprises Indonesia, Italy, and the incoming G20 presidency. According to a statement provided by the Ministry of External Affairs, the troika will include three developing nations and emerging economies for the first time, giving them a stronger voice.
