Steps to do the Booster Dose Registration
As mentioned earlier, the Covid Vaccine Booster Shot Registration has been made available to all the citizens who are 18+ years of age and have completed 9 months from the administration of the second dose. So if you fall under this category, get your slot booked by following the simple steps below –
Step 1: Download and open the Cowin App on your mobile or visit the Cowin website on your desktop
Step 2: Once you have downloaded the app, look for the “Register/Sign In” option and tap on it.
Step 3: Once you tap, you will be redirected to another webpage where you will be asked to fill in your old registered mobile number, and tap on the option of “get OTP”
Step 4: Once you enter the OTP, you will be redirected to the dashboard of the Cowin portal.
Step 5: Search for and click on the Slot Booking button.
Step 6: You will be redirected to the page where you must select the Booster Dose option.
Step 7: Now you can choose the makes available for the Booster Dose such as Pfizer, Covishield, Covaxin, etc.
Step 8: Towards the end, check the date and slot available in your District and proceed next.
Step 9: Once you have booked your time slot, go to the designated Vaccination center to receive your Covid 19 Booster Dose.
Note: The citizens have to only provide their mobile number and upload the Vaccine certificate to get registered for the Covid Booster Dose.
