UPPSC APO conducts the recruitment process in two steps: Prelims and Mains exams. The UPPSC APO syllabus 2022 for the Prelims consists of questions on General Knowledge (GK) and Law syllabus. The syllabus for Mains has questions that will test the candidate’s knowledge of General Knowledge and General Hindi along with questions on Law papers such as Criminal Law & Procedure, Law of Evidence, etc. The table given below provides information on the detailed syllabus for both tests.

The interview stage is done to evaluate the personality of the candidate for UPPSC APO exam. A candidate’s character, personality, and general awareness would be assessed during this stage. The final selection would be done on the basis of the mark list prepared by combining the main and interview scores.
