The University Grants Commission (UGC) is a statutory body of the Government of India. It was established on 28th December 1953. It is all set to set up an online centralised portal, named UGC e-Samadhan portal, dedicated to addressing and resolving grievances from students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff.

  • The portal will be made operational from September 2022
  • It has set a target of resolving grievances within 10 working days.
