The University Grants Commission (UGC) is a statutory body of the Government of India. It was established on 28th December 1953. It is all set to set up an online centralised portal, named UGC e-Samadhan portal, dedicated to addressing and resolving grievances from students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff.

The users will be able to file a complaint on UGC e-Samadhan Online Portal using their email id. They can also register a complaint by calling on the toll-free number 1800-111-656.
The UGC chairman, at the launch of the “UGC e-Samadhan Portal”, has made it clear that every complaint will be resolved in a time-bound manner.
