Shramik Card App Download: For the betterment of the unorganized workers, the Ministry of Labour and Employment, launched an e-SHRAM online portal. Workers of the unorganized sectors can apply online for registration and enjoy the benefits that come with it. The Government released this portal on the 26th of August 2021. A National Database of Unorganized Workers (NDUW) will be linked with the Aadhar of the workers. The Shramik card registration can be done for free. No application fees or registration fees has to be paid. The registration will take place at Common Service Centres (CSCs) or at the Regional Offices of State Government. Once the person registers, they will receive the e-SHRAM card or Shramik card. This card has a unique Universal Account Number (UAN). With the help of the card, the workers can avail benefits of social security schemes by the Government.
For the Shramik Card App Download, you will need an internet connection and a mobile phone. Read the following instructions and follow the same.
Step 1: On your mobile, open the Google Play Store.
Step 2: Search ‘Labour Card’
Step 3: The application will be displayed on your mobile screen.
Step 4: Click on the install option to download.
The registration process is simple. The following steps will guide you through.
Step 1: Visit the official website of e-SHRAM
Step 2: Enter the required credentials.
Step 3: Click on the option ‘Send OTP’
Step 4: Enter the OTP you received and enter the required details like name, occupation, etc.
