KTET Registration Process

A candidate has to follow the following steps to fill in the application form for KTET Exam:

Step 1: Visit the official website of KTET.

Step 2: Go to the new registration link and click on it. A new page will appear with instructions. You have to carefully read the instructions and check all the tick boxes to move further.

Step 3: Fill in all necessary details like name, address, date of birth, email address, gender, religion, contact number, etc.

Step 4: Now upload your scanned signature and recent photograph. The format should be the same as per the specifications given by the authority. Upload the scanned copies of all the required documents.

Step 5: Review the details filled in carefully and save the form. After checking all the details, click on the submit button.

Step 6: Pay the application fee from any mode of payment and submit.

Educational Qualifications

Category IThe candidate must have passed the higher secondary/senior secondary with at least 45% marks. The candidate should have obtained a 2-year trained teaching certificate from the Kerala Government.The candidate must have passed the higher secondary/senior secondary with a minimum of 50% marks. Should have a 4-year degree in Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).The candidate should have passed the higher secondary/senior secondary with at least 45% marks and must have a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education.The candidate must have passed the higher secondary/senior secondary with a minimum of 50% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Category IIThe candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in any stream. Should have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks and should have a 1-year diploma in B.Ed.The candidate must have passed the higher secondary/senior secondary with a minimum of 50% marks along with a 4-year degree in BA. Ed /B.Sc.Ed.
Category IIIThe candidate should have a BA/B.Sc./B.Com. degree with at least 45% marks. Also, should have B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized university.In the case of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology, the candidate should have an M.Sc. Ed. Degree in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks.
Category IVThe candidate should have the required qualifications for the language teachers of Urdu, Sanskrit, Arabic, and Hindi.The candidates should abide by all the Kerala Education Act and Rules for the post of physical education or specialist teacher.

Age Limit

There is no set age limit for the candidates who are going to appear for the KTET exam. Candidates who fulfill all the educational requirements as per the KTET Eligibility criteria can apply for the KTET exam.

  • The candidate should be a citizen of India
  • Candidates from all over the country can apply for the KTET exam but preference will be provided to the candidates of the Kerala state.

KTET Exam Admit card

The Admit Card of the exam was released on 25th April Candidates have to follow the following steps to download the admit card for the KTET exam:

Step 1: Visit the official link of KTET.

Step 2: Now click on the tab of the Admit card. Enter all the necessary details like application ID, application number, and the category of the candidate.

Step 3: Click on the submit button.

Step 4: Download the admit card and keep a print copy of the admit card with you for future reference.

KTET Result

The result of the KTET exam was released on the official website on 1st June 2022 Candidates have to visit the website to see their results. Candidates who will be eligible for the next round, that is, ‘Document Verification’ have to submit their necessary documents in front of the District Educational Officer. After that, a certificate of verification is provided to the candidates by the District Educational Officer.
