CUET Marking Scheme

The marking scheme of the CUET sample paper and the exam in general is explained below.

• The question paper will have a total 175 number of questions.
• The questions will be asked in the English language.
• 1 mark will be given for every correct answer.
• 0.25 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Section 1 A

There are 13 languages in this section. They are given below. Candidates can choose any language from the given ones.

Languages: Malayalam, Marathi, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi, Gujarati, Odiya, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Urdu

Section 1 B

There are 19 languages in this section. They are given below. Candidates can choose any language except the language chosen in Section 1 A.

Languages: Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan.

Section II: Domain-Specific Subjects
