AFCAT Exam Date 2022 Out: Registration for the AFCAT exam will begin on the 1st of June 2022. The Indian Air Forces invited applications from eligible candidates up to the 30th of June 2022. AFCAT stands for the Air Force Common Admission Test. The IAF conducts this exam twice a year. Deserving candidates get recruitment into the Flying Branch, Ground Duty (technical) branch, and the Ground Duty (non-technical) branch.

The vacancies for the three branches will be released by IAF on the 1st of June 2022. These vacancies will be tentative and shall change without any notice. For the NCC Special entry, 10% of the CDSE vacancies will be reserved for PC and 10% of the AFCAT vacancies will be reserved for SSC candidates.
From the 1st of June 2022, candidates will be able to apply for the AFCAT exam. The registration will take place on the official website of AFCAT CASB. You will need scanned copies of your photo, signature, and thumb impression while filling out the forms. Check the steps given below to submit your application.
Step 1: Visit the official website of AFCAT CASB.
Step 2: Click on “Apply Online”
Step 3: Now, look for the link for new registration. Enter the required details to register yourself.
Step 4: Log in with your credentials. Choose your desired post and enter your information.
Step 5: Upload the necessary documents.
Step 6: Select the exam city of your choice and make the fee payment.
Step 7: Submit the application.
The final step in the submission of the AFCAT application will be payment of the application fee. This has to be done in online mode only. CAsh or demand draft payment will not be accepted. Make sure you print out the payment receipt for use in the future. Refer to the table below for details.

All the aspirants must make sure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for age, educational qualification, nationality, and marital status is as follows.
The minimum and maximum age limits are different for the flying branch and Ground Duty posts. The details are given below.
