Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) started the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) for the first time in 2021. Currently, lakhs of applicants who have not appeared or are preparing for UP PET are looking forward to the UPSSSC PET 2022 Exam. UPSSSC PET was initiated in 2021 as an Eligibility Test for the recruitment of Group B and C posts. Then, it was made mandatory to register and apply through PET for various UPSSSC Examinations and posts. Recently the UPSSSC PET Exam Date was released by the authorities.

As stated above, the UPSSSC PET Exam Date is 18 September 2022. UPSSSC PET Notification was released on 21st April 2022. UPSSSC has even announced the PET 2021 Cut Off for the recruitment of UP Lekhpal. The applicants have to clear the announced cut off to be eligible for the further selection process.

UPSSSC will come up with the exam calendar for various examinations and even announce the Mains Exam dates and vacancies for various Group B and C posts. The candidates who clear the UPSSSC PET Exam can appear for the Mains Exam of the Group B and C posts, as depicted in the UPSSSC Calendar. In 2021, around 20994 vacancies were released for Lekhpal, X-Ray Technician, Junior Assistant, and other Group B and C posts.
Candidates who want to appear for UPSSSC PET 2022 have to satisfy the following eligibility criteria as if they do not do so, their application may lead to rejection.
1. Minimum Educational Qualification: The candidates who have passed Class 12th or class 10th or any other equivalent exam can apply for UPSSSC PET 2022. Those who have not passed even Class 10 exams cannot apply.
2. Nationality: The candidates must be of Indian nationality. Although there is no mention of the condition that the candidate must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
3. Age Limit: The candidate must be between 18 to 40 years of age. The age relaxations shall be applicable to the following categories:

If you want to fill the UPSSSC PET Exam form online, follow the steps given to below.
Step 1: Go to the UPSSSC Official Website.
Step 2: Go to Candidate Registration.
Step 3: Click on “Apply” for the Preliminary Eligibility Test 2022.
Step 4: Finish your registration if you are a new user. Read all the details and accept the declaration.
Step 5: Enter your personal information, qualification details, etc. to complete the PET registration.
Step 6: Go to pay for the online application and upload all the required documents. The photograph and signature format must be (.jpe/jpeg/jpg, 5kb to 30kb).
Step 7: Submit the remaining details and pay the fee as applicable and complete your application process.
Step 8: You can print the application form for future use as well.

After the start of the UPSSSC PET, only those candidates who score well in UPSSSC PET 2022 will be called for the upcoming Group B and C main examinations for the particular posts. If anyone has not enrolled themselves for the UPSSSC PET 2022 then they will not be able to appear in the main stage against any posts. Thus, it is mandatory to appear for UPSSSC PET 2022. The selection process for any UPSSSC recruitment will be as mentioned below:

The UPSSSC PET Admit Card will be issued on the official website for the candidates around a week before the exam date. The candidates have to download the admit card and get a hard copy of it. The commission will not send any admit cards to the candidates individually. Follow these steps to download the UPSSSC PET admit card.

After the UPSSSC PET 2022 Exam is over, the commission will release the provisional answer key on its official website. The candidates can challenge the provisional answer key and the same will be accepted for a limited period of time. The final UPSSSC PET answer key will be released once the objections are assessed.
