International Day of Yoga 2023 Quiz: In December 2014, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) declared June 21st as the International Day of Yoga (IDY) due to its wide-ranging appeal and proven benefits for immunity development and stress relief. The day has been celebrated annually since 2015 to increase awareness of yoga’s advantages and encourage a lifelong interest in the practice, emphasizing its importance and contribution to public health. As preparations for the ninth IDY in 2023 begin, the Ministry of Ayush (MoA) anticipates strong public involvement and has organized a quiz competition to commemorate the occasion and assess public knowledge about yoga, previous IDY celebrations, and the ministry’s current initiatives.
