World Children’s Day is celebrated on 20 November each year
World Children's Day began in 1954 as Universal Children's Day.
The day is observed to promote international unity, raise awareness among children globally, and improve the welfare of children.
It is also the date on which the UN General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989.
The theme for world children day 2022 is Inclusion, For Every Child
Future Children's Day provides an inspiring starting point for each of us to advocate, promote, and celebrate children's rights, translating into dialogues and actions that will help build a better world for children.
