Raksha Bandhan Festival

Celebrate this year with a lot of fervour on 11th/12th August, 2022

The Raksha Bandhan festival is one of the oldest Indian festivals.

Siblings have an unrivalled bond; they may bicker all day, but their love and care for one another is unconditional.

The Rakshabandhan festival is celebrated with joy and gaiety throughout the country on the full moon day in the month of Shravan.

On this day, sisters tie a sacred thread, known as a Rakhi, around the right wrist of their brothers and wish them good health and a long life.

Raksha Bandhan represents the ideal of universal brotherhood while also immortalising Indian culture.

Rakhi Festival transcends caste, creed, and religion and is based on religious sentiments.
