Only those candidates who qualified for the TNPSC Group 2 prelims exam will be eligible for the Mains exam. The TNPSC Group 2 Mains Exam is divided into two parts i.e., Paper I and Paper-II. Candidates who qualified for the Mains Paper-I with minimum qualifying marks will be eligible for the Paper-II. This is the third and final stage of the TNPSC Group 2 Selection Process. Candidates who successfully qualified for the two stages i.e., Prelims and Mains will be eligible for this stage. The oral test is conducted for only those candidates who are appearing for the Group 2 posts. The total weightage of the oral test will be 10% of the total marks obtained by the candidates. This test is conducted for the purpose to check the personality of the candidates for the post they are applying for. The time limit of the TNPSC Group 2 Oral Test is not fixed. It varies from candidate to candidate.
The final result of the TNPSC Group 2 Exam 2022 will be announced after the Oral Test. And the merit list will be made after adding the marks of the mains and oral tests.
