The TN Teacher Recruitment Board has said that whenever the Computer-based Examinations are conducted in multiple sessions, they will be based on the same syllabus, same exam pattern and for candidates having the same eligibility criteria, their marks will be normalized. The raw marks obtained by the candidates in different sessions will be converted into normalized marks when the results will be released. However, in such cases, where examinations are conducted in only one session, the actual marks obtained by the candidates in the exam will be considered for calculating the merit list. Normalization of marks will not be done in such cases. After the computer based test, the TN TRB will prepare the list of candidates for certificate verification in a 1:2 ratio. The final merit lists will be released by the board on its official website.
Once the admit cards are released by Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board, the candidates are advised to download the admit card as soon as possible. They are required to print out the admit card. Candidates should carefully read all the instructions mentioned on the admit card. All the candidates need to carry their admit cards to the exam center otherwise your entry wouldn’t be allowed. Moreover, along with the admit card, the Board has mentioned in its official press release that candidates are also required to carry two recent passport size photographs and ID Proof. ID proof could be a PAN card, Voter ID or Aadhar card as specified in the admit card. Candidates are required to carry the original ID Proof as no scanned copies or photocopies will be accepted at the time of entry.
TN Teacher Recruitment Board conducts an online examinations for every post. The board allotted exam centers in various cities and districts of Tamil Nadu state. So, if a candidate lives outside Tamil Nadu still he needs to choose a center from the list provided below. Candidates can check their respective exam centers on their admit cards. The TN TRB declares the result for every exam conducted by them on their official website TRB – TN, NIC The board releases the result in the form of a merit list. The merit list will contain the names and roll numbers of the qualified candidates. The candidates are then called for a document verification process followed by a personal interview.
