Telangana Formation Day 2022: Telangana is a state located in the Southern part of India. The state shares its border with Karnataka and Maharashtra. Telangana Formation Day is commemorated as the day when the state of Telangana was formed from the Andhra Pradesh state. Telangana Formation Day is also known as Telangana Day. This year for the first time, the Union Ministry of Culture is going to organize celebrations of the Telangana Formation Day in Delhi. According to a press statement, the Union Ministry of Culture will host the event at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre. The event will be held in New Delhi from 6 p.m. onwards. On the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao unfurls the national flag in Hyderabad on Thursday morning. The chief guest of this special event will be the Union Minister Amit Shah. On July 1, 2013, the CWC (Congress Working Committee) approved a resolution recommending the establishment of a new state. The state will be independent from the state of Andhra Pradesh. The bill to create the Telangana state was introduced in Parliament in February 2014. The same month that the then-Indian government passed the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act. The Telangana State Bill was finally passed on June 2, 2014, and Telangana successfully became an independent state.
