Lal Bahadur Shastri quiz 2023: Lal Bahadur Shastri was the second Prime Minister of India, serving from 1964 to 1966. He was born in 1907 in Allahabad, and was the son of a farmer. Shastri joined the freedom struggle led by Mahatma Gandhi in 1930, and was arrested and imprisoned for participating in the Salt Satyagraha of that year. After India gained independence in 1947, Shastri entered politics and served in various positions at the state and national level.
