Kerala Government Job Portal: Kerala’s Department of Labour and Skills has developed a one-stop-shop for job seekers and companies in order to improve employment in the state. The State Job Portal is intended to be a one-stop-shop or all-in-one assistance resource for job seekers and employers.

Through the State Job Portal, the Department is utilising the power of information technology to bring job seekers, businesses, and other service providers together on a single platform. It is envisioned as a platform that goes beyond a traditional job board, with a variety of engaging and exciting features for both job searchers and employers.

The Kerala Government Job Portal is for all job searchers in Kerala, as well as a resource for trained labour to locate work at standard hourly rates and a single location for companies to discover qualified staff.

National Employment Service of Kerala

The Employment Department is a state government department under the Kerala government’s Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation. It is one of the largest workforce database managers in the world.

The major goal of the Employment Services department is to serve as a link between companies and job seekers. It supports persons with the necessary qualifications, experience, and skill set for a variety of positions in the quickest time feasible.

The department works to achieve this goal by registering, renewing, selecting, and counselling suitable applicants for reported openings. The department provides service through a network of department organisations that cater to the individual requirements of the recipients.

To create a platform for stakeholders to interact in order to deliver a responsive, transparent, and efficient employment service that meets the skill demands of a changing society is the visit of NES, Kerala.

The day-to-day management of the organisation was handed over to the State Governments on November 1, 1956, based on the recommendations of the Training and Employment Services Organization Committee, chaired by Sri: Shiva Rao.

The Employment Service is currently a shared responsibility of the federal and state governments. The State Government is in charge of the department’s administration.

The rules and procedures to be implemented in the functional activities of the Employment Exchanges are defined at the national level by the Director-General of Employment & Training, New Delhi, to guarantee uniformity in the running of the Employment Exchanges throughout India. The department is known as the National Employment Service (Kerala).
