The Indian Navy has announced 200 job openings. In its official notification, the Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment for Matric Recruit (MR). Candidates are shortlisted on their 10th-grade performance. The number of candidates shortlisted will be four times the total number of vacancies.

Candidates who meet the Indian Navy Agniveer MR cutoff marks will be accepted into the Indian Navy Agniveer MR. Following that, they will be given a fixed salary of Rs 30,000 along with various benefits, which are expected to increase over the course of four years. The pay scale is outlined below.
