The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), has released an official notification for admission to the Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.ED) for the academic year 2022-24. The admission is conducted through Common Entrance Test 2022 also known as the HP D.El.Ed CET 2022. The entrance exam is for a total of 100 marks, and 2 hours. Candidates who clear the entrance exam are provided admission to the two-year Diploma course in the Govt. institutes and Privately, affiliated institutes.
The HP Deled Entrance Exam 2022 online admission process is going to commence on 5th May 2022. Hence, we have compiled this article to provide you with all the necessary information you need to appear for the entrance exam. So go ahead and give this article a read!

The application process for the HP Deled Entrance exam 2022 is going to start on 5th May 2022. Hence it is advisable to fill out the application form before the deadline, to avoid the payment of any late fees. So to provide you with a hassle-free experience we have listed the steps to apply online below –
Step 1: Candidates appearing for the first time, need to register on the website. So go to the official website of the exam conducting body.
Step 2: Fill and submit the new registration form and obtain the Registration number.
Step 3: Now log in using the Registration number so generated, and your Date of Birth.
Step 4: Fill out the online application form and upload your signature and photograph.
Step 5: Pay the Application fees, through online payment mode using a credit card or debit card only
Step 6: Once the payment is made, candidates can submit the online application form.
Step 7: Take a printout of the application form thus submitted for future reference.
Note: No confirmation of the submitted application form is required to be sent by post or email.

The candidates are required to pay the application fees, before submitting their application form. The application fee needs to be paid online mode that is by debit and credit card only. Here is the amount payable as per the category of the candidates –

The eligibility criteria for the entrance exam are defined in the terms of the minimum educational qualification, and age. The following are the eligibility criteria details-
To appear for the Common Entrance Test, candidates need to possess the following minimum educational qualifications
Note: For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PHH category, a relaxation of 5% marks in minimum educational qualification is available as per the rules and instructions of the State government.
The age limit of the candidates on the date of appearing in the entrance exam is as follows –
For the candidates belonging to the reserved categories, a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit is given as per the existing rules and regulations. However, there will be no upper age limit in the case of Ex-servicemen candidates only.

Admit card serves as the permit to appear for the examination, and therefore a very important exam document. It needs to be downloaded and printed on time to avoid any hassles. The HP Deled Entrance exam admit card is going to be issued four days before the conduct of the examination which is scheduled to take place on 19th June 2022. The admit card will be released on the official website and here are some important details that need to be checked on the same –
The provisional answer key is released by the Board once the exam is duly conducted. Candidates can refer to the answer key and calculate their marks and thereby predict their results. The following are some noteworthy points to keep in mind –
The Board will publish the result on the official website after the completion of the Entrance examination. Candidates can check their results from the official website by merely entering their Roll No. or Application No. The date for the declaration of the result has not been provided yet, and candidates can keep an eye on this space for any further updates.
Cut off is the benchmark set by the Board to only select deserving candidates. The following are the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to score to clear the entrance examination –

The exam is an objective type test based on fours subjects English, Hindi, Numerical Ability, and General Awareness for a total of 100 marks
