The UPSC CDS Result 2022 is the last stage is the preparation of the merit list. The merit list is prepared by the commission and the following are the steps followed –
Step 1: The Commission compiles a list of candidates who have achieved the minimum qualifying marks in the written exam.
Step 2: Candidates who clear the written exam are now invited to take an intelligence and personality test by the Commission.
Step 3: In order to make it to the merit list, the candidates must achieve qualifying marks in both the written exam and the SSB interview.
Step 4: The final merit list is compiled by the Commission by using the total marks obtained in both the written exam and the SSB interview.
Step 5: The final recruitment decision is made based on candidates’ merit, medical fitness, and the number of vacancies available for admission.

After the release of the UPSC CDS Result 2022, the CDS scorecard is released within 15 days. The details such as the name of candidates, candidate’s roll number, date of birth, total marks in the written exam and SSB Interview, total final marks, and other information will be included on the UPSC CDS scorecard.
Candidates who could not clear the SSB interview will also receive a CDS Scorecard, within 15 days of the declaration of the UPSC CDS final result . The Commission provides 30 days for the candidates to review their results after the scorecard is released.
