10 Lines on Jyotiba Phule: Jyotiba Phule, born in 1827 in the state of Maharashtra, India, is considered one of the most important social reformers in India during the British colonial period. He is widely recognized as the father of the Indian social reform movement, and his efforts to abolish the caste system and promote education for all continue to inspire social reformers today. Phule’s work focused on the rights of lower caste people, women, and children in India. He founded the Satyashodhak Samaj (Truth Seeker Society) in 1873, which worked towards the upliftment of the oppressed castes and promoted the idea of social equality. He also set up the first school for girls in 1848, recognizing the importance of educating women in order to bring about social change. Phule was also a vocal critic of the caste system, which he believed was a tool used by the upper castes to oppress and exploit the lower castes.
